Our Values and Beliefs

Mission:

Bardo Lutheran Church exists to be disciples, and to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs:

Bardo exists to proclaim salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  We are a worshipping, learning, witnessing and serving community of baptized persons among whom the Word is proclaimed and the Sacraments are administered according to the Gospel.

Our faith in Jesus is rooted in the Bible, the inspired word of God. We believe that the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds are true declarations of our faith. Our beliefs are expressed in the Augsburg Confession and the Small Catechism.
