Pastor Peter Beckman

My name is Peter Beckman, and I am the pastor here at Bardo. I am passionate about the wonder and mystery of knowing and encountering Christ through passionate teaching, the sacramental and liturgical life, and intentional relationships. I am married to my best friend Emily. I like gardening, baking, reading, and hikes! I have studied at Moody Bible Institute (BA), Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM), and St. Paul University Ottawa (PhD). I would love to get to know you more. Intern Kristian Berg

Kristian Berg is an applied ministry intern at Bardo. He is from Port Coquitlam, BC and is a student at the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute in Camrose. As part of his last year at Bible School he is completing an applied ministry practicum at Bardo, St. John's Ardrossan, and other surrounding churches. You may see him around the church during the week and helping out on Sunday morning. He is finishing his bachelor's degree and plans to attend Concordia Seminary Edmonton in January of 2025. Kristian's repetoire of skills includes electronic soddering and repair, target range shooting, daycare supervising, and brewing!
